Despite the cover...

..this story does not feature Thundra, Tigra or Impossible Man.   Just imagine the disappointment of the readers of 1977.  Who found a reprint of FF 101 instead.
It does feature the first (and only) appearance of the Top Man.  I'm guessing the readers of 1977 were just begging to see the Top Man.

Impossible Man peeks in the window and watches Lee & Kirby and Thomas & Perez hard at work, trying to come up with a good idea for issue 176 of the FF.  Obviously, they failed.
