Fantastic Four #222

FF #222 from Sept. 1980.  "The Possession of Franklin Richards" by Doug Moench and Bill Sienkiewicz.

Franklin is way too excited to see his parents kiss.  It's kinda creepy.

Why can't Reed Richards afford a bunsen burner?

FF #218 from May 1980.  "When a Spider-Man Comes Calling" by Bill Mantlo and John Byrne.

The opening splash page, which I think is quite cool.

Fantastic Four 217

FF #217 from April 1980.  "Masquerade" by Bill Mantlo and John Byrne.

Johnny's got the gold chains and he's hanging out with Dazzler.  It's a Bill Mantlo/John Byrne disco masterpiece.

FF #216 from March 1980.  "Where There Be Gods" by Marv Wolfman and John Byrne.

More trauma for little Franklin. He's gonna have major issues when he grows up (IF he grows up).

Fantastic Four #215

FF #215 from Feb. 1980.  "Blastaar" by Marv Wolfman and John Byrne.

Odd moment from the issue: in the middle of a tense Blastaar situation, Reed gets a call from a friend who was mugged by a street gang, so Reed...goes off to help his friend! Like suddenly, Reed cares more about his friend getting mugged then he does about Blastaar running loose in the city.

Fantastic Four #214

FF #214 from Jan. 1980.   "and then there was One" by Marv Wolfman and John Byrne.
